Sean Cannon’s paintings and ink drawings are inspired by our postmodern culture. His style is vibrant, modern, and ironic through the use of aestheticism. He is fascinated with portraiture's and challenges himself to look at a photograph and imagine how he can reshape it into a uniquely one-of-a-kind painting.

To Sean, where words fail, colors and strokes come alive through his paintings. Sean’s art is about expressing his love of form and color with the flow of bringing to life a new narrative that did not previously exist.

Sean graduated from Northern Arizona University with a BFA in British Literature and earned a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Arizona in 2009.
